Mark Barrett
Pastor

Mark has been married to his best friend Nancy for 30 years and they have four children. Mark has served in pastoral ministry for 30 years and has ministered in Japan, Kenya, Ethiopia, Europe, Equator, Israel, and Mexico. He has also ministered as a youth leader with Young Life and as a youth pastor with Emanuel Church in Burbank, California.

After attending Logos Bible Institute and the Masters College, he became the pastor of Kumulani Chapel in Kapalua, Maui, where he served for ten years. The Barrett's then moved to San Juan Capistrano to pastor Ocean Hills Church. In 2003, Calvary South County was planted at the Coach House where Mark currently serves as the senior pastor. Pastor Mark also teaches at Calvary Chapel Bible College in Costa Mesa and Calvary Chapel Teachers College in San Diego.

Matt Potter
Assistant Pastor

Matt has been serving at Calvary South County since 2003. He received Christ as his Savior when he was nine years old and soon developed a heart for discipleship and short term missions. This has led him to minister in the classroom, the church and in a variety of outreach ministries. After completing his undergraduate work at CSU San Bernardino, Matt received his MA from Biola University and continued his Bible education at Calvary Chapel Bible College. He has also served in College & Career and Youth ministry.

Matt serves as our assistant pastor and also teaches at Calvary Chapel Bible College in Costa Mesa.
